Dating Tips For Women

The Bachelor
A new season of ABC's "The Bachelor" has started, and once again we see all the wrongs of dating. Some of these girls need to take some dating tips for women from us. Of course, most of us aren't in a situation where there are 25 girls living in the same house and dating the same guy. That's just wrong on so many levels. They have "group dates" and of course, the producers have to create drama by placing one rose on each date that goes to one special girl before the dreaded Rose Ceremony. And speaking of the Rose Ceremony, we've got some dating tips for women for that, too.

But first, let's give dating tips for women who are dating the same man and living in the same house:

If one girl goes on an individual date with the Bachelor, don't pressure her to dish about it.
If you go on an individual date with the Bachelor, don't gush or brag about it. You know the other girls are probably already jealous. You'll just be creating drama and making things worse if you gush or brag.
Don't take everything so seriously. People say stupid things all the time, well-meaning or not, and if you take anything personally, things can get out of hand fast.
Don't be catty. If you don't like someone, keep it to yourself.
Be friendly, but not too friendly.
Don't try to be the center of attention.

Now, some dating tips for women at a Rose Ceremony:

As the number of available roses dwindles down, don't start pouting or glaring at the Bachelor. Think about it--why would he give a rose to someone who's giving him a dirty look?
Make sure your smile is genuine, not some fake, pasted-on beauty pageant smile.
Speaking of fake, what the heck are those fake half-kisses on the cheek? It must be an effort not to get lipstick on the Bachelor's face. It's happened in so many seasons that that must be the reason. It looks ridiculous though. Ladies, just give him a hug. Skip the kiss on the cheek. Let him kiss you. Don't be so aggressive.

We know--that last tip was a bunch of dating tips for women all in one. Just consider it a bonus!
